I never really went away, but I did get a job and have less time for art, and artistic networking. Nonetheless, I am carrying on, and I just posted another work that I finished months ago but didn't have time to upload until now. Anyway, I'm still making art, and I'm still alive, so there's that.

The other day, it occurred to me that one of the biggest needs of the deviantart community at the present moment is art criticism-a lot of young artists need someone to critique their works and help them improve. To that end, I am willing to devote some of my time and energy to give critiques to anyone who is willing to pay. Each critique costs 400 points ($5 USD), and will be an honest, unbiased attempt to help you improve your work. Honest critiques will be an even mix of pointing out good features and pointing out areas for improvement. For some idea of what kind of critiques I give, you can look at my body of work, on my home page. These will not be fluff jobs (not that I'm above doing that, but it costs three times as much), so don't expect either over-the-top praise or hyperbole. I will not offer refunds on critiques (you pay me for my opinion, and I will give you that), but I will offer refunds or rewrites (maximum of two per work) for fluff jobs. Now, I will still do the occasional free critique on works I find particularly interesting or noteworthy, and I will make occasional comments without any charge. To request a critique, send me a note with the subject "Critique request", and we can arrange it.

It's been awhile since I posted anything, I just wanted all of you to know I'm still alive. I've been working hard on a CS degree, but that doesn't mean I haven't made any art.
